“Where are you off to?” asks your neighbour as you strap the last of your luggage to your bike. “Africa” you reply. Their response is drowned out by the burble of exhaust as you thumb the motor into life before rolling earplugs between thumb and forefinger and sliding your grin into your helmet; it’s not everyday you ride your bike to Africa…

Currently our longest tour,  this 19-day epic commences with an overnight ferry from Portsmouth to Spain followed by a coast-to-coast crossing of the Iberian Peninsula and our ferry to Morocco. 11 Days of riding in Morocco follows, and includes 341km/212mi of dirt roads (piste), spread over five days. We’ll cross the Middle, High and Anti-Atlas Mountain ranges as well as the Rif Mountains and the distinctly different ranges of Djebel Sarhro and Djebel Bani. Away from the dirt we’ll explore the picturesque ‘Blue City’ of Chefchouen, the walled Berber town of Taroudant and the UNESCO listed medina of Fez with its labyrinth of souks. Linking this all together is a ribbon of tarmac laid through Morocco’s extraordinarily diverse landscape.
